Four players from NVC men’s soccer team named All-Bay Valley Conference

The Napa Valley College men's soccer team placed four players on the All-Bay Valley Conference team, Storm head coach Rogelio Ochoa announced.

Gabriel Cendejas, a sophomore defender, was named as the Conference Midfielder of the Year.

Cendejas, Yair Rafael-Gaspar and Gedeon Ilunga were named All-Conference first team.

Rafael-Gaspar is a sophomore forward.

Ilunga is a sophomore forward.

Alberto Martinez Hernandez, a freshman midfielder/defender, was named All-Conference second team.

Napa Valley (5-11-4 overall, 5-4-3 Bay Valley Conference) closed out the 2024 fall season with two straight wins, both of which were shutouts. The Storm ended the season with consecutive wins over Merritt College-Oakland, 3-0, and Yuba College-Marysville, 8-0.

The Storm was also 3-3-2 at home.

Napa Valley finished in fourth place in the conference standings.
