Farrington, Broome lead Napa Valley College men’s basketball at Sophomore Showcase
Chris Farrington, who averaged 14.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game during the men’s basketball season, was among four players from the Napa Valley College men’s basketball program who traveled to Southern California to play in the 2025 Sophomore Showcase.
NVC men's basketball ends regular season with two games during the week
The Napa Valley College men's basketball team ended the 2024-25 regular season with two games this week.
The Storm got 28 points from Chris Farrington, but lost at College of Marin on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Kentfield, 88-86. Farrington was one of five players in double-figure scoring for the Storm.
In its final game of the season, Napa Valley lost at home on “Sophomore Night,” falling to Yuba College-Marysville, 83-65, on Thursday, Feb. 20.

There was the five points that he scored on Feb. 5 in a game against Los Medanos College-Pittsburg.
There was the four points that he had in a game on Feb. 7 against Contra Costa College-San Pablo.
Lain scores in double figures for NVC men’s basketball in loss to Contra Costa

Caedom Lain was the only player to score in double figures for the Napa Valley College men’s basketball team as the Storm lost its Bay Valley Conference game to Contra Costa College, 75-49, on Friday, Feb. 7 in San Pablo.
Lain scored 11 points to lead Napa Valley (3-22 overall, 2-11 Bay Valley), which has lost three straight.
Naajy Bynum-Bey scored nine points, Hassan Flemming and CJ Mitchell each had eight points, and Jayden Robinson had six points for Napa Valley.
Chris Farrington had four points and Jerard Jackson had three points.
Napa Valley had two 3-pointers and was 7-of-13 from the free-throw line.
NVC men’s basketball can’t sustain good start, loses to Los Medanos
The Napa Valley College men’s basketball team got off to a very good start in its Bay Valley Conference game on Wednesday night.
Back-to-back shots by Hassan Flemming were followed by 3-pointers by E’Jay Rogers and Chris Farrington.
It was a 10-0 lead for the Storm, with Los Medanos College-Pittsburg taking a timeout.
A basket by Jayden Robinson gave the Storm a 12-3 lead.
