NVC men's soccer falls to Woodland Community College, 2-0

The Napa Valley College men's soccer team lost its Bay Valley Conference match at home on Friday, Nov. 1, falling to Woodland Community College, 2-0.
Woodland (8-9 overall, 7-1 Bay Valley), the conference's first-place team, had a 1-0 lead at halftime and scored a goal in the second half in shutting out the Storm.
Napa Valley (2-11-3 overall, 2-4-2 Bay Valley) has lost two straight matches and is in sixth place in the league standings.
Jose Alvarez scored at the five-minute mark off an assist from Andres Morales.
Cristian Garcia scored an unassisted goal at the 60th-minute mark.
Yahir Rodriguez and Brandon Carabez each had three saves for Woodland.
