
NVC men's basketball ends regular season with two games during the week

The Napa Valley College men's basketball team ended the 2024-25 regular season with two games this week.
The Storm got 28 points from Chris Farrington, but lost at College of Marin on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Kentfield, 88-86. Farrington was one of five players in double-figure scoring for the Storm.
In its final game of the season, Napa Valley lost at home on "Sophomore Night," falling to Yuba College-Marysville, 83-65, on Thursday, Feb. 20.
Napa Valley finishes its season at 4-24 overall, 3-13 in the Bay Valley Conference.
In its game against Marin, the Storm was behind by two points at halftime, 41-39.
Farrington was 10-of-22 shooting from the field and 8-of-8 from the free-throw line. He also had six rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 38 minutes.
Nate Broome scored 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field. He also had six rebounds and blocked two shots in 33 minutes.
Hassan Flemming scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field. He also had two rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes.
Jayden Robinson scored 10 points, going 8-of-9 at the free-throw line. He had eight rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes.
Naajy Bynum-Bey scored 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field. He also had three rebounds in 19 minutes.
Additional play came from:
CJ Mitchell (eight points, two rebounds), E'Jay Rogers (four rebounds, two assists, two points), Jamari Taylor (two rebounds), Caedom Lain (three rebounds), Jerard Jackson, Kieran Mannion.
Napa Valley shot 44.9 percent from the field (31-of-69) and 88.0 percent at the free-throw line (22-of-25). The Storm had 38 rebounds, 12 assists, seven steals and four blocked shots.
In its game against Yuba, the Storm was behind at halftime, 43-28.
Napa Valley was led by Broome with 20 points, including 4-of-4 free-throw shooting.
Farrington scored 18 points.
Additional scoring came from Bynum-Bey (six points), Rogers (four points), Robinson (four points), Taylor (three points), Flemming (three points), Mitchell (three points), Royel Freeman (two points), Lain (two points).
Napa Valley was 10-of-15 at the free-throw line.
