Visiting Team Guide
The Athletic Training Room
Napa Valley College and the Athletic Training Staff would like to welcome you and your team to our campus. The athletic training room is located on the first floor if the 600 building room 606. Closer to the Men’s Locker Room. The athletic training room will be open for treatment two hours prior to a competition. The athletic training room is equipped with an electrical stimulation unit, ultrasound, hydrocollater, and ice modalities. If your team is traveling without an athletic trainer please ensure their medkit is fully stocked with the necessary supplies. If any athlete needs care please enclose a list of tapings or treatments for the athlete. If there are any special instructions for taping or treatment procedures please provide descriptive instructions.
Event Coverage
During the competition each sideline will be water, bottles, injury ice, towels, and a first aid kit. All emergency equipment (splints, crutches, slings, and AED will be on the home sideline. In the event of an emergency requiring immediate attention, campus police will be notified and emergency services will be contacted. Information of local medical facilities can be found here.
The Visiting Locker Room
The Visiting locker room will be located in Room 603, dependent on classes being scheduled during that time. An athletic Staff member will direct you to the room if available upon arrival.
