The Napa Valley College men's basketball team played its final game of the 2023-24 season on Thursday, Feb. 22.

Chris Farrington, Jerard Jackson and Jalen Moore scored in double figures, but the Storm fell to host Yuba College, the Bay Valley Conference champion, 88-76, in Marysville.

Farrington scored 23 points on 10-of-21 shooting from the field. He also had 10 rebounds and eight assists.

Jackson scored 22 points, all on 3-pointers, and had two assists. He was 7-of-16 from 3-point distance.

Moore scored 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field. He also had four rebounds.

Napa Valley (3-25 overall, 3-13 Bay Valley Conference) was ahead at halftime, 41-39.

The Storm shot 41.4 percent from the field (29-of-70), 33.3 percent from the 3-point line (9-of-27), and 60.0 percent from the free-throw line (9-of-15). Napa Valley had 39 rebounds, 16 assists, five steals and four blocked shots.

Raekwon Bell scored eight points on 3-of-9 shooting from the field. He also had five rebounds and two steals.

Jamari Taylor scored five points and had four rebounds and two assists.

Also, playing for the Storm:

Nate Broome, with four rebounds, two blocks and three points; Ethan Williams, with six rebounds and two points; Nico Franco and Hassan Flemming.

Eleven players scored in the game for Yuba (26-2 overall, 16-0 Bay Valley Conference).

Yuba was led by Nick Von Zboray with 15 points, Devon Malcolm with 11 points and six rebounds, Majer Sullivan with 10 points and nine rebounds, Demarreya Lewis-Cooper with eight points, five rebounds and 12 assists, Cam Niles with nine points and five assists, Casen Chaney with 10 points and five rebounds, Marley Gonzalez with 10 points and four rebounds, Devan Minouei with eight points and five rebounds, and Rohan Sheemar with six rebounds.

Yuba shot 49.3 percent from the field (35-of-71), 34.8 percent from 3-point distance (8-of-23), and 58.8 percent from the free-throw line (10-of-17).

Yuba had 45 rebounds, 29 assists, seven steals and eight blocked shots.

Napa Valley averaged 67.8 points per game on 36.6 percent shooting from the field, 26.9 percent from the 3-point line, and 69.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Storm averaged 39.1 rebounds per game and 12.2 assists per game.
