NVC's Sanchez, Nunez honored with top awards on All-BVC women's soccer team

The Bay Valley Conference honored players from Napa Valley College with two of its top awards on the 2023 All-BVC women's soccer team, Storm head coach Mark Corbett announced on Thursday.
Annie Sanchez, a freshman forward, was named as the BVC's Most Valuable Player.
Ariel Nunez, a freshman, was named as the BVC's Goal Keeper of the Year.
Brianna Munoz, a freshman defender, was named first-team All-Conference.
Jasmine Alonso, a sophomore defender, was named second-team All-Conference.
Napa Valley (5-8-2 overall, 4-6-2 Bay Valley) took fifth place in the conference standings.

He was inducted into the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Hall of Fame in 2016, the Vintage High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019, and the Napa High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2022.
