NVC men’s soccer, Woodland tie in key Bay Valley Conference match, 1-1

First-place Woodland Community College and second-place Napa Valley College tied in a key Bay Valley Conference men's soccer match on Friday, Oct. 27 in Woodland, 1-1.

Woodland (9-5-2 overall, 7-0-1 Bay Valley) remains in first place.

Napa Valley (8-7-1 overall, 6-2-1 Bay Valley) is in second place, with three matches to go in the 2023 regular season. The Storm is 7-2-1 in its last 10 games.

Justin Sotelo scored Napa Valley's lone goal of the match. The assist went to Ivan Chavez.

Woodland Community College got its goal from Cristian Garcia. The assist was credited to Ricardo Diaz.

Napa Valley is at home on Friday, Nov. 3 for a Bay Valley match against Contra Costa College-San Pablo at 4 p.m.
