Sanchez scores three goals, lifting NVC women’s soccer to 3-2 win over Merritt

Annie Sanchez scored all three goals, a hat trick, to lift the Napa Valley College women's soccer team to a 3-2 Bay Valley Conference win over visiting Merritt College-Oakland on Friday, Oct. 6.

Sanchez is a freshman forward for the Storm (2-3 overall, 1-1 Bay Valley).

Melina Shaline-Solis, Tanya Rivas and Aileen Torres-Robledo each had an assist in the win for Napa Valley.

Shaline-Solis is a freshman forward.

Rivas is a sophomore forward.

Torres-Robledo is a freshman defender.

Napa Valley continues its season on Tuesday, Oct. 10 when it travels to Woodland Community College for a match starting at 4 p.m.

The Storm is at home on Friday, Oct. 13 for a match against College of Marin-Kentfield at 2 p.m.
