Storm Win as Bats Come Alive in 7th Inning against Rams

San Francisco, CALIF-The Storm went on the road looking for their first win of the season against City College of San Francisco. A six run 7th inning put the game out of reach and the Storm came away victorious. The Storm had a great pitching outing from their starter Stefan Raeth who went 6 innings only giving up three hits, one earned run and 10 strikeouts. He also contributed on the offensive end with two hits and a run scored. The entire offense got at least one hit with six players getting more than two hits. The first run of the game was scored by Noah Wallen on a RBI single in the 4th inning. The Storm added to their lead in the 5th inning with an RBI single by Tyler Peters. The Storm took a commanding lead after the 7th inning with RBI singles by Hunter Leavitt, Freddy Tenbrink, Louis Hall, and Wallen. Wallen finished his offensive display with another RBI single in the top of the 9th to have three RBIS on the day.  Felipe Gonzalez closed out the game with a 3.0 scoreless innings giving up two hits and three strikeouts. The Final game totals were nine runs on 16 hits and no errors. While the Rams were one run on five hits with one error.  Head Coach Dan Parker "it was a great win, we played solid defensively and credit to Stefan for pitching well and limiting the Rams at bats."
